I left NYC for this.
Belgium, exactly where I need to be.

When I see an opportunity, I grab it,
for myself, and for other artists whom I run with.
We can't do it alone, and why should we?

I catch doors before they slam shut.

It's time. Equity in the Arts. We've been saying it for decades.
Then it's no longer convenient, and we get back to business-as-usual.
Whatever it means to you, just do something. Or join me in doing something.

Since I moved to a new country several times, I've had to learn to knock on doors and knock down doors. I don't love it, but there's no staying alive otherwise. And when a door stands ajar, as many of us as possible might as well rush in. All media, origins, faiths, ethnicities, and genders.
When one of us is seen, we all stand a chance of becoming more visible. When an artwork speaks, let them all ring out to be heard.
A network is for pulling out what we need, and for depositing what you might need.

Equity in the arts.
Are we doing it?
Or are we still talking about it?
